Immerse yourself and replenish your energy
Some places offer an immediate escape from everyday life. The Vulkaneifel thermal spa is one of them. Treat yourself to an extra special pampering experience – to a greater sense of freedom and wellbeing. With a design featuring wood, glass and stone, the architecture creates a world of experiences and wellbeing in a completely new dimension, spread over two floors. Relax and unwind in the spacious spa or enjoy a splash around in the health-giving thermal water.
The spa offers a choice of indoor and outdoor pools and an extensive sauna suite with an outdoor zone and volcano-themed saunas, which transform each and every visit into a special experience. The spa also boasts a vitality suite with all the health treatments you could wish for. Why not treat yourself to traditional treatments or Eastern healing techniques, a massage or a body wrap, some “me” time or quality time as a couple? Simply sit back and replenish your energy! There’s no better place to relax and recuperate than in a wonderful atmosphere that exudes warmth and tranquillity.
Thermal water
Bad Bertrich’s thermal water emerges into the sunlight at 32°C from a depth of over 2,000 metres. Packed full of heat and minerals, it is the only hot spring in Germany to contain Glauber’s salt. This gift of the volcanoes, which shaped the entire region 50,000 years ago, is one of the best bases for passive and active exercise therapy, thanks to its natural 32°C heat: a healing effect already valued by the Romans.
